Team drawing
Aim:
To work together to produce a drawing.
You will need:
Large sheets of paper (one per group), coloured pens or crayons, a group of at least 5 people.
Duration:
20 minutes
Divide into groups of five to eight people. Give each group a large piece of paper and crayons or pens. Explain that each group will produce a drawing. You could give them a focus, (e.g. represent their community, your hopes for the future etc).
Ask participants to take it in turns within their groups to make a stroke with the pen or crayon. They should do it silently and without taking the pen off the paper. Give the groups a warning when they have 2 minutes left.
Share the drawings with the whole group. Ask participants if the drawings would have been different if they had planned them beforehand. Ask how it felt to work together in silence. Did they found any problems, or was there was anything they particularly enjoyed?
