Design a peace award
A symbol is a thing that represents or recalls something. What symbols do you think best represent peace?
These are a few suggestions, but you can probably think of lots more of your own: linked hands, dove, flower, rainbow, crossed out gun, smiling face, sea, clouds, birds, music, sunshine
Draw a picture of an award you would give to someone who has been working to achieve peace in their community. It could be a certificate, a plate, a medal or a trophy. Include some of the symbols you have thought of.
Can you think of anyone you would give a peace award to?
