Education Rap
Aim:
To create a rap or song about education.
You will need:
Paper and pens, musical instruments if desired.
Duration:
1 hour
Create a rap or song about the importance of education for children around the world. Be as imaginative and creative as possible. Think about any other songs you have heard that are about school, teachers or education. Try to be positive and concentrate on all the positive things school has to offer. Talk about how lucky people are who have the chance to go to school, and how so many children don't get that chance.
You could ask to perform your rap or song at school or at your youth group. If you have the opportunity, perform it at a local community event, to get more people interested in the right to education.
