Happy hospitals
Aim:
To make a picture to cheer up people in hospital.
You will need:
Paper, coloured pencils/pens/crayons etc, materials for collage e.g. fabric, coloured paper (optional).

Do you have a local hospital that might benefit from some decoration? Many people like seeing pictures when they are in the clinic or hospital. It can help people to feel better when there are cheerful decorations around, especially if they are feeling unhappy or unwell.
Design a colourful picture or collage to put up in a local hospital. Children's wards are good places to display your art work, but adults will also appreciate new decorations. Add a positive message like 'Be Happy', 'Get well soon', or 'Keep smiling'.
The group leader can take all of your pictures to a hospital, or you could visit as a group to present your artwork.
