Programme Preview: Education
What do you know, how did you learn it, could you teach someone else? Everyone is a teacher as well as a student, come to the peer education workshops to find out how you can run your own workshops and share your skills with everyone at Global Village!
Education is a fundamental right of all children; in the education theme we will be exploring what people learn, what they should learn, how schools are different around the world, formal and non formal learning and the importance free primary education for all.
There will also be a summer school for adults about children's rights and how to educate others on the issues. Adult leaders from different organisations wiull be able to come together and learn from one another. We'll be finding out how we can make childrens' rights a reality, with workshops and discussions on a different aspect of this topic every afternoon.
