Programme Preview: Fair Trade
The fair trade theme is not like the other themes, it's better! Instead of a centre we have cafés, Instead of flip charts and marker pens, we have candy floss and coffee! Experiential and experimental learning will enable everyone on the camp to see the benefits of a fairer trade system! The Fairy Trade Café is a lively funky place complete with rollerskates and fairy wings! Tillyards Coffeehouse is a more relaxed, contemplative venue for deep thought and intellectual discussion. Both will be providing an array of drop in, table-based and workshop activities for everybody at Global Village to enjoy. The highlight of the week will be the chocolate summit when Kuapa Kokoo, manufactures of the fairly-traded Dubble chocolate bar will be on camp to teach us all about the way they work and supply plentiful amounts of lovely chocolate!
