Programme Preview: Water & Health
Water & Health will host plenty of informative and thought-provoking activities, there’ll be opportunities for discussion, craft, play and drama activities. WaterAid, an international charity working to provide clean water and sanitation, will come and give workshops for all ages, from games to teach hygiene, decision making role play to a world simulation game, they’ll touch on the diverse work of development organisations. There will also be the opportunity to take part, creatively, in a water campaign by World Development Movement, exploring the issues around Europe’s responsibility to the Millennium Development Goals.
On the fun side of things, come and build a giant marble run, trying to stop the ‘leaks’. There will also be loads of opportunities to ‘cool down’ with our water moving workshops and fun games.Take part in our ‘Save Water on Camp’ workshop and explore our water usage, and tell everyone you meet how to save it!
