Evan’s Evenings

Evan Sedgwick Jell

Alright, how's it going? Me? Not bad, a little sunburnt. Tonight for ya'll we have (as termed by the Guardian) 'the new Madness' (although I happen to think they're much, much better), exploding ska band, The Big Hand, playing in the Cornwallis building until the depths of 11 o'clock. In Fairy trade at 8:30, for your collective pleasure, we also have storyteller Eric Maddern, bestowing 'Burdens and Blessings' upon your unwashed selves. This is followed by a pianist, lending his talent to spread a relaxed atmosphere to mingle with the popcorn fumes. Green Turtle town marquee will have a double bill of films, the heart breaking 'Kes', and the mythical and care worn tale 'The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada'. There will be a number of other activities in Town Marquees, happening in a delightfully off the cuff manner, don't forget to check the black boards outside. Once again, any suggestions, please come to see me (Evan) or Carly (Carly). The procedure is, at the moment, not entirely obvious, but from tomorrow, there will be suggested activity forms at the information point for you to fill in and drop off at the office. Brilliant, hope you're all having fun. One last thing, has anybody seen my plate?
