Hungarian cuisine in V16
Vilmos Hanti, V16
The delegation of Hungary came with 10 people to this gorgeous meeting/camp. Both before and after the event, they are staying at either Gloucester or Cheltenham with the local Woodcraft Folk, with whom they have had good relationship for years.
Village 16 became a perfect place for the English, Chilean, Finnish and the Hungarians to be together as a family. The Hungarian Childfriends made a wonderful national meal on Thursday evening and showed a really exciting "night show" with lights.
They also made an exhibition about the Hungarian Childfriends and about Hungarian inventions. You wouldn't think how much stuff was used first by Hungarians. Like Rubik's Cube, helicopters or the ballpoint pen.
The blanket from the IFM-SEI camp 10 years ago has also been brought to the GV06 and people painted their hand-prints and names there.
You can buy a T-shirt for £5 with the GV06 and Hungarian Childfriends logo. It is worth it to come around here!
